I have extensive experience with a large array of animals. Having grown up around dogs, cats, birds, horses, rabbits and guinea pigs I feel comfortable dealing with animals in general. I competed with my horses in eventing and showing jumping, instructed at dog obedience classes in Mackay, worked with the RSPCA (Mackay) and have successfully shown my cats. On occasions I have taken over the day

to day duties for ‘Karinda Cattery’ in Red Cliffs (Vic) as well as cared for friends and families pets on long term basis’ of up to 6 months while they have been away. My genuine love for animals and belief that excellent customer service is a must will make your time away from home stress free. All your pets will obtain excellent personal attention within their own home environment. Keeping your pets at home will help keep all stresses and anxiety to a minimum for not only your pet but owner’s as well. Bendigo areas can be visited. Agriculture Victoria is working with private vets and experts to investigate horse deaths in Victoria.

We do not know the cause yet, but very early results for some infectious diseases have been negative, with further testing for a range non-infectious and infectious causes underway.

It’s very important that unexpected horse deaths are reported to Agriculture Victoria in 1800 675 888 to help our investigation as quickly as possible.

PCV have been contacted by several of you regarding a number of reported unexpected horse deaths in the past week.

At this stage we have not been formally updated on this, but we are in contact with the Dept of Agriculture, who will immediately inform us of any news once it comes to hand.

In the interim, please monitor your horse for any changes in their condition and any increase in their temperature.

Please contact your vet if you have any concerns!

We will provide any immediate updates via Facebook as we receive it.
