Today we were set up at The Bendigo Club for there school holiday lunch event :)

Was a great event as always with a full house and lots of excited kids (including the big kids).

We had a wide range of Wildlife on display and of course our popular Wildlife to interact with.

Thank you again for having us and of course thank you to everyone who came :)

Hey everyone!
It’s been brought to our attention that there is a bit of confusion regarding our business,

YES we are and ALWAYS will be available 24/7 for snake and reptile removal ☺️

We are also still able to do all our usuals bookings and property Inspections.

We have been running TZR Reptiles and Wildlife for almost 8 years now and will continue to do what we absolutely love! ❤️

Unfortunately as per our licensing conditions and any other snake catchers in VIC, we are unable to publicise photos of snake catching and anyone that you see posting these images on social media is breaching their licensing conditions as it is to protect the public and prevent people trying to copy us, this is a serious safety matter that we uphold for the protection of the general public.

We would just like to take a moment and thank the people that have brought this to our attention and we hope in future there is no further confusion

We’re looking at expanding our owl enclosures and are seeking secondhand/ scrap corrugated iron for this, would anyone have some laying around that we could please collect and make use of for our enclosures?

We’re ideally after long pieces but I’m sure we could make almost anything work 🙂

I think we can all agree on how difficult and scary this year has been, it has been hard for so many businesses and we truly appreciate all the support and continued business we’ve had over the past year

🐍🐍🐍Did anyone hear the Triple M interview with our staff member Tash this morning?

If you missed it you can listen below!😁

To those who did get to hear it, Natasha Marie and Victoria Skipper returned to the property shortly after the interview and managed to locate and safely catch and relocate the third snake 😁.

All in all it was a great outcome with the client feeling safe to let her children and dog back out in the yard. ❤️

Spring is finally here!
As the weather begins to warm up, our native wildlife will begin to move into action for breeding, nesting and feeding.

This is also a time when reptiles will be emerging from winter brumation to enjoy the sun, find some food and find love ;).

Please be mindful when out side in the yard, garden or when going for a walk as our little snakey mates will be taking advantage of the sun rays, just like us!

If you do happen to encounter a snake, please don’t hesitate to call us for assistance or advice.

Here are a few great key points.

1. When left alone, snakes present little or no danger to people.

2. If you see a snake, keep calm and move yourself and anyone with you (including pets) away from the area.

3. Call a licensed snake catcher (0423627145) And we will advice on what to do.

4. Maintain lawns and clean up around your house, because snakes are attracted to shelter such as piles of rocks, timber, sheets of metal and building materials.

5. Make sure to know the correct first aid training for a snake bite and ensure your first aid kit contains several compression bandages, and if someone is bitten call 000 immediately.

Snakes play an important role in our ecosystem and are protected under the Wildlife Act 1975. It is illegal to capture, harm, or kill them.

Our phone is always available and we do operate 24 hours 7days a week.

🦎 ℍ𝕒𝕡𝕡𝕪 𝕎𝕠𝕣𝕝𝕕 𝕃𝕚𝕫𝕒𝕣𝕕 𝔻𝕒𝕪🦎

Today we celebrate almost 5600 species of Lizards alive today all over the world, many of which are threatened species with habitat loss and non native species such as cats and dogs being the biggest threat!

Lizards are our best friends in our gardens, they control slugs, snails and insects!!
They also eat some of our weeds ☺️

When you encounter a lizard on your property the best thing to do is to leave it be, unless it is in danger from pets or appears to be injured.
Keep dogs and cats away from lizards in your gardens and backyards and if you need further assistance we’re always a phone call away 🙂

To celebrate the end of our 5th lockdown and to help our amazing community, we have decided to offer
‼️FREE‼️yes FREE snake catching services for the next 2 months BENDIGO ONLY**, covid has hit a lot of families hard and to say thank you for all the support we’ve had over the years we’re now sending back the thanks to our community 🥳

I’m sure we’re all over the moon now that lockdown has ended!
We are back and ready to take on bookings for birthday parties, functions, property inspection and so much more!

And most importantly no matter what even in lockdown we are classed as an ESSENTIAL SERVICE!
