I grew up in Benalla on a small property and have owned horses and cattle from a young age. I have been a veterinarian working in the local area for almost 7 years, and have recently started working for myself. As well as a veterinary science degree, I have an animal science degree, which focuses on heard health and improving production and profitability of farming enterprises. I have a clinic at

🦠PARVOVIRUS ALERT🦠

This week we have unfortunately diagnosed a puppy with Parvovirus. The puppy is currently undergoing treatment and is in a critical but stable condition. We can assure you that it is safe to enter the clinic as we have a strict isolation and biosecurity protocol and he is of no threat to any other animals at the clinic.

But unfortunately, this does mean that there is definitely Parvovirus in town, which is a risk to other unvaccinated or incompletely vaccinated puppies and dogs.

We will temporarily be reducing our opening hours to close at 5:30pm until the beginning of August.

Some of our staff are taking a very well deserved break over winter, and to make sure we can continue to deliver you the best service possible, we will be making sure our staff are not overworked during this time.

Whilst waiting for little Snowys IV fluids to run in, Dr Jade finally got to sit down, and kindly given a cup of tea and a blanket, whilst catching up on some notes!

Senior animals face their own sets of challenges as they age. And sometimes fat and muscle loss in their face can cause their eyelids to roll in (aka entropion). We have been using a new ‘non surgical’ approach to this issue, and it has been very well received by our gorgeous senior patients ❤️
