There are a few changes happening at Pink Paws in 2026

This will affect some bookings. I'll be in touch ASAP to all affected appointments.

I would like to get back into the habit of setting regular appointments so that all regulars get when they want.

The time has come for a salon wide price increase, effective Monday 15th September 2025.

This is required to ensure the continued operation of the salon using the quality products we use by the quality team members that work at Pink Paws.

This decision has not been made lightly. We understand that times are tough but this is unavoidable. We have not had a general increase since the start of 2024 and everything is just getting more expensive.

The new prices will be in effect from your next appointment. If you have any questions or concerns please message the salon on 0421 498 246 and I will get back to you.

MUST LOVE DOGS 🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕

Here is an opportunity for a dog lover who wants to work in the Belmont Salon!!

We are looking for a casual receptionist for the salon, generally 3 shifts a weeks but could be more depending on other team members. Experience is not required, we are looking for the BEST person for the job!

the min job requirements:
🐕 8am to 2pm MONDAY and FRIDAY and 8am to 4pm on SATURDAY. Start time is non negotiable so will not suit school hours (sorry) - there may be other days required every now and again (which is why we are looking for casual)
🐕 comfortable talking to customers

The qualities required in the perfect person:
🐕 a love of dogs
🐕 punctuality
🐕 great communication skills
🐕 ability to work in a team
🐕 basic computer skills
🐕 ability to work in a loud environment
🐕 multi tasking
🐕 physically fit (need to carry dogs etc)
🐕 clean up after the dogs (yes we are talking poops and pees)
🐕 basic cleaning/laundry

Let's talk NO SHOWS! This is not a subject that I like to post about as I am generally pretty flexible with bookings and understand if things happen

BUT

Today alone we had 3 dogs just not show up. This is a problem as we do not have enough time to fill the spots when this happens. This results in lost revenue.

From now on I will be ENFORCING the $50 no show/late cancellation fee that I have not been doing up until now. Pink Paws is a small business and I still have to pay the team, even if they are not doing anything!!! Please respect our time.

If this sort of thing continues prices will need to increase to cover the extra costs - something I really don't want to do....

Please respond when you get the appointment reminder text - I manually send this out to EVERYONE. With enough notice I can sort anything out but I cannot do anything without notice.
