Hi all, I've had a lot of people asking me why I'm not taking bookings currently, so thought I'd give you an update, rather than replying to everyone separately. We got a letter from the Swan Valley council (well, specifically Peter Wright from dplh) due to a neighbour complaint. The fabulous founder of Sniffspace - Tracey advocated on our behalf as no other Sniffspace in any other Council / Shire in Australia needs a permit to run a Sniffspace activity (it's similar rules to an airbnb). Even other areas in the City of Swan don't. However, it seems we are in a "golden triangle" - Swan Valley has it's own community and seperate rules from the rest of the Shire (and Australia). It's controlled locally to maintain a rural setting. So we are waiting for the application to be approved before we open again (might take quite a while). Peter said he wouldn't have bothered with us at all, it was only because of the complaint. So after 5 years, and hundreds of 5-star glowing reviews, we need to close (hopefully temporarily).
