They’re here for us during tough times, providing unconditional love and support, and our times with our pets are often the most wholesome part of our day.

Time spent and experiences with your pet are special. Do that trip to their favourite beach, the trip through maccas drive through, read them that story or letter, give them that treat they always loved 💚

It will be emotional, but creating a Bucket List for your pets is a wonderful way to honour their friendship when the time comes.

When you are ready, sit back, and find a comfortable place where you can brainstorm. Pick that special spot in your home where you and your pet like to hang out, or head to your favourite outdoor area for some fresh air and ideas.

Where is your favourite place to go with your pet?

Do they have a best dog friend they haven’t seen for a little while?

Are they allowed on the couch?

Are they allowed to eat ice cream?

It is important to allow yourself to experience emotions throughout this process.

To lose such a friend is not just to have sudden hole where they used to be. There are constant reminders of time spent together, threads in the tapestry of daily life left ragged and loose.

Who are we and what are we about?
I am a local vet based in Belgrave. I moved back here six years ago and have been locuming for clinics in the area. Twenty four years ago, my first job was at Ferntree Gully Veterinary Hospital - I’ve been a vet for a long time.

During that time I have said good bye to lots of pets, both in clinics and at home. It’s nice to have a choice about where and when you say good bye to your loved four legged one. If a farewell at home is what you prefer, we can help. If your vet can’t come ( because vets have been insanely busy during Covid), we can help. Evenings or weekends? We are available. A gentle pain free passing is what we all wish for when it’s our time and this is what we aim to provide
