Meet Sabrina, our sleek black panther witch named after the iconic Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and she absolutely lives up to her name! She has the most unique and endearing way of greeting you with her soft owl-like hoots whenever you enter the room, casting her spell on everyone she meets.

This regal girl knows exactly who she is and will claim the highest spot in the house as her throne, surveying her kingdom with quiet confidence.

Don't let her queenly demeanour fool you though. Sabrina is a lover at heart and when she wants affection she will make absolutely sure you know about it. Expect her tail flicked right in your face followed by the most enthusiastic elevator butt as her way of requesting head rubs and back rubs, and she will purr her heart out in return. She just likes things done on her schedule!

She can live with calm cats and dogs and will thrive in a peaceful home where she can be the queen she was always meant to be. If you're looking for a dignified, characterful companion with a big personality who will make you feel honoured every time she casts her spell on you, Sabrina is the girl for you.

Our little birds have recovered from a nasty intestinal parasite.

Pigeon, Penguin, Sparrow, Raven and Goose have been well loved and cared for by their amazing foster family and we are truly grateful for their commitment to their health, care and socialisation to prepare them for their homes.

Urgent Foster Home Needed for Lucy

Location: Brisbane, Gold Coast, Ipswich, Toowoomba or Sunshine Coast

We’re reaching out for help to find a temporary foster home for Lucy, a loving 3-year-old mastiff mix. Lucy was rescued from a regional pound and has been happily adopted, but due to unforeseen personal circumstances, we need to bring her back into care this weekend.

Finding urgent foster placements can be quite difficult, so if you’ve ever thought about fostering, we would be incredibly grateful to hear from you.

Lucy would thrive best in a home without young children under 8 years old. She’ll also need someone committed to helping her with leash training and continuing her crate training. Thank you for considering giving Lucy a safe space during this time!

Sometimes we find ourselves asking, "Why?"

Why do certain animals get overlooked, even when they have so much potential?

We believe these three precious souls—Mitsuri, Muichiro, and Sanemi—deserve a chance to thrive in loving foster-to-adopt homes. They’ve been in our care since October 2025, totaling 293 days, and have transformed from shy four-month-old kittens into wonderful companions.

We’re seeking foster-to-adopt homes because we understand that it may take time for their true personalities to shine. Each of them has unique qualities waiting to be uncovered, and a nurturing environment can make all the difference.

Meet Mitsuri, our sweet Torbie girl. Though she’s shy, she’s waiting for that special home where she can build trust with her humans. She would thrive in a calm environment, ideally with other pets or a gentle, confident feline companion, as this would help her feel secure and loved.

Then there's Muichiro, a gorgeous blue tabby boy who dreams of a home with a loving dog companion. He’s Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) positive and is seeking a place where he can receive unconditional love and care.

Lastly, we have Sanemi, a striking blue tabby with adorable white toes. He would flourish in a home with another pet—whether dog or cat—where he can enjoy companionship. While he’s quite independent, he’d happily transition to being a snuggly couch and bed cat if given the chance.

These three deserve all the love and support we can give. If you think you can offer a safe haven for one of them, we would love to hear from you! Your patience and kindness could help them blossom into the loving companions they are meant to be.

Our hearts are heavy with sorrow.

If only love could have been enough to save Suri.

During her time with us, we cherished the tender moments of cuddling and the supportive care we provided as we fought to help her heal.

Sadly, Suri contracted a severe strain of cat flu that has tragically affected many cats from the same rescue situation.

Though our time together was brief, we felt her longing for affection and her joy in discovering the warmth of love. 🄰

Rest peacefully, sweet girl, alongside Mr. Nibbles and your friends. You will always hold a special place in our hearts. 🄰

I feel pretty special! My foster mom made a big deal about my vet visit yesterday, and it really showed how much she cares.

At the vet, I learned that I’m missing some important little bones in one of my front legs and a toe. My front right leg is a bit shorter than my left, my wrist doesn’t move the same and while I might tire out a little quicker than other puppies since I mostly use three legs instead of four, I can still live a happy life.

The vet isn’t sure what my future holds, but she knows I’m just a little puppy who loves to steal hearts. She agrees with my foster mom that I shouldn’t have been discarded just because someone thinks I’m not ā€œperfect.ā€

My name is Marshmellow, and I’m 10 weeks old. I’m a handsome mix of cocker spaniel and cavoodle! I love hanging out with my doggy friends and am really curious about the other creatures in my foster home. They have four legs and walk on the ground with me, but they aren’t dogs!

As I’m a puppy and going through teething, I think my foster mom is the best toy ever! 🧸 I can’t promise I won’t be a little mischief maker, though—I’m likely to get into anything I can reach with my paws or tongue!
