A fantastic day for the team with Oriente and Demarcay both getting the job done at Ipswich today! 🏇🏆

A huge congratulations to their ownership groups — some big teams involved in both horses and it’s always great to see everyone rewarded for their support and belief in our system.

Particularly satisfying to see Demarcay, a recent purchase, already winning his purchase price back — what a start to his new chapter! 🙌

Massive thanks to our hardworking staff back home in QLD for keeping everything running so smoothly while Rikki Dunn and I are down in Sydney with Sha of Gomer, who will hopefully make it three from three tomorrow. 💪🔥

💥 Sha of Gomer – Gallant 3rd in the Listed Weetwood 💥

What a warrior! Yesterday our boy showed just how tough he is, digging deep after a wide run to finish a fighting 3rd in the Listed Weetwood.

We’re incredibly proud of him and the whole team including the new pilot Ant Allen for getting him back to stakes grade this prep – a real credit to his resilience and the hard work behind the scenes.

Plenty to take from that run, and it’s exciting to know there’s more to come. 🏇✨

The catch ran a huge race himself today in Saturday metro company.

With no clear running and desperate to get clear he surged late to go down 0.2L at $41 odds. A great ride feom Corey Sutherland, With a bit more luck earlier in the straight we think he wins! What do you think?

Very proud of his consistency this prep. One of the closest finishes I’ve seen.
