What are those?! Check out the wolf teeth found on this routine dental!

Wolf teeth are found variably within the equine population, with most erupting by 18 months of age. They come in all shapes and sizes, and can sit a variable distance in front of the upper 6s (or first molars). Not to be confused with canines, wolf teeth are a vestigial tooth and their removal is largely on a case-by-case basis or client preference.

Wolf teeth should only ever be removed under sedated veterinary examination, using local anaesthesia 🔧
