Absolutely stoked with how the dogs have been going lately!
We headed down to New South, straight into the cold, and put them straight to work chasing a few goats. From there, they went on to compete in the Australian Utility Championship, National Kelpie Field Trial, and the Australian Yard Dog Championship.

They hadn’t seen a sheep in over 18 months and had absolutely no fine-tuning beforehand, yet still put in an awesome effort.
At the Australian Utility Championship, we just missed the novice final, with four dogs finishing in the top 15.

We then went on to the National Kelpie and Australian Yard Championships, where Tess made the maiden final out of 140 dogs and came away with 6th place and Tilly finished 9th.

Brazier’s Sterlo has won the Ultimate Stock Dog challenge. Sterlo constantly worked over three different disciplines (paddock, yard, cattle trial) to be named the overall champion. Sterlo is our girl Tilly’s sire and we are so pleased that his talent and natural ability has been passed down. Tilly has been enjoying the sunny QLD weather working cattle but will be heading down south,with the team, very soon to showcase her style on sheep as well!

This is only Beau and Ruby’s third ever trial, so we are incredibly proud of our young guns, and this is the first of many cattle trials for our old faithfuls (Ben, Tess and Tilly) as well! ⭐️
