A small business dedicated to friendly, quality, reliable service. We are a small business located in Bathurst, NSW.

We were born from one lady mending the family's horse rugs to a business mending dozens of rugs a week while also supplying custom made show sets and presentation rugs. In between all this we repair any trotting harness, riding gear (not clothes) and horse tack. The shop is also packed with numerous, ready-to-use horse rugs in different sizes and styles, headstalls, leads, brushes and basically ev

erything you could spoil your equine friend with. These include hay bags, Blak-It, supplements and gear care. For the owner we also have a small range of giftware including jewellry, show accesories and games.

After much consideration we have to announce the closing of Bourkes Horse Rugs.
Our last day will be the 31 March 2026. Since operating for 31 years we have been fortunate to serve this community and our nieghbouring towns.
To our loyal customers we appreciate you for choosing to shop at Bourkes Horse Rugs and shop locally.
We invite you to take advantage of our closing down sale on now. All stock and shelf fittings must go. We hope to see you in our shop and have the chance to say goodbye.

Bourkes Horse Rugs would like to thank everyone that has supported our little business, we will be taking some well earnt holidays from the 19 December till the 19 January, 2026.
