SNAKE SKINS

Snake skins are generally 30% longer than what the actual snake is as they stretch it to shed or slough.
Often snakes will find somewhere dark, safe and secure while they are in slough as they do lose their some of their eyesight as well.
Just because you have a skin, it doesn’t mean you have a snake now. It may have shed and moved on.
If you do find a Snake skin, we are more than happy to come out and do an inspection

My pups are the bestest of friends and have been for almost 2 years! Would you believe Tiga (the black one) is the pup and 4 years younger than Reya!

Needless to say if you have vines around check they aren’t snakes!
This tiger snake ‘vine’ gave the homeowner a fright when it hissed 😅
Safely relocated away from the chicken coup

Here is the release of the gorgeous diamond python caught yesterday. The homeowner was on a few acres so allowed me to release it away from the home near a water source.
Such a stunning snake and now one of my favorite catches!
Diamond pythons are non venomous but can deliver a nasty bite if provoked.

Just when I thought Snake season was over
I received a Wires notification about a snake in a house up at Rylstone. I contacted the homeowner and they graciously watched it while I drove from Bathurst to get it
This is my first wild python that I have caught as they are not located around the Bathurst region 
Needless to say, my smile says it all, and I am still smiling
