For six years, a dog named Capitan 🐕 slept at his owner’s grave every night 🌙.
His owner, Miguel Guzman, passed away in 2006, and Capitan disappeared shortly after the funeral 🕊️.
The family searched everywhere 🧾 and put up flyers, but no one had seen him.
A week later, visitors at the cemetery noticed Capitan lying on the grave 🪦 and told the groundskeeper.
The cemetery staff contacted the family, who came to take him home 🏡.
But each night, Capitan would cry and scratch at the door 🚪, desperate to leave, and wouldn’t return until morning ☀️.
They later discovered he was walking three miles 🚶♂️ back to the cemetery each night to stay by his owner's grave.
This went on for seven years 🗓️.
The cemetery kept the gates open until he arrived at 6 p.m. sharp every night ⏰.
He slept there all night, guarding the grave like a loyal companion 🛌❤️.
This is a real photo of Capitan 📸.
P.S. If true love exists in this world, this is it ❤️🐾
