Just a word of warning to anyone looking at purchasing a Cavalier puppy from Mel Grimshaw under the breeder name of Jalebell kennels in Muswelbrook. She seemed very nice & honest when I spoke to her numerous times on the phone. We picked up our puppy at 11weeks old, she met my husband in Tamworth as she was coming there for the day. She said she would send her registration papers as soon as they arrived. Milly has now turned 6mths old this week & still no papers! After numerous unanswered phone calls & messages & numerous excuses why the papers weren't back yet, I have given up on her! All of the other people who have purchased a puppy from this litter have had the same runaround too. So it is time to let potential buyers be aware of this woman. She is giving the responsible breeders a bad name. I will be taking the matter further, we will see how we get on! There is no way in the world I would be giving Milly back due to the circumstances, but when you are paying good money for a registered pup from a breeder you have been recommended to & presume is responsible & reliable you really get ****** off when you find out they are not! The breeder who recommended her is now very embarrassed as well.
