Sweet Indie 🩷🐾

Indie came in for her final check after her desexing procedure yesterday, and we couldn’t resist sharing that adorable little face. As a rescue girl, she’s already been through a lot, and we’re so proud to work alongside amazing rescue groups helping dogs like Indie get the care they need.

Animal rescue is something very close to our hearts. Every rescue pet deserves a chance at a safe, healthy, and happy future — and being part of that journey is incredibly special to us.

Winter in Australia means we often start seeing vulnerable wildlife seeking warmth and shelter — including baby birds ❄️

If you find a young bird on the ground, it may not be abandoned.
Here’s what to do:�• Feathered birds hopping around are often fledglings learning to fly, with parents watching nearby.�• If the bird is injured, cold, or in danger, contact your local vet or wildlife rescue organisation for advice.�• Avoid feeding bread or milk, as these can make birds very sick.�• Keep cats and dogs away from nesting or rescue areas where possible.

Meet Lenny aka Len-Dog.

Lenny stopped by the clinic today for his monthly preventatives, and somehow managed to turn a routine visit into a full-on personality showcase. Big ears, serious face, and the kind of loyal stare that says, “I’m riding shotgun no matter where we’re going.”

Keeping up with monthly preventatives might not be the exciting part of dog ownership, but it’s one of the best ways to keep your best friend healthy, active, and by your side for years to come. Heartworms, fleas, and ticks don’t take months off — and neither does Lenny.

POV: you wake up from a dental procedure and suddenly your tongue feels 10 sizes too big 😹

This sweet kitty had a dental procedure with us and was rocking the classic “tongue out” look afterwards. Don’t worry — this is actually quite common and usually temporary after dental work or anaesthetic.

The medications and numbness can make their tongue hang out a little while they recover… although we have to admit, this one looks EXTRA impressive!

How cute is that giant blep?! 🩷
