We’re all about happy, healthy pets here and today I want to give a huge shout-out to Village Tales – a local charity doing incredible work rescuing and rehoming dogs and cats in need. 🐶🐱💛
One of our lovely clients helps run this amazing organisation, so it’s a cause very close to our hearts. Every adoption means a fresh start for a pet who deserves a loving home.

Our hearts are overflowing, a beautiful blend of joy and slight concern as we reach out to you.
You know the whispers of hope that travel through our community when the "freedom bus" prepares to roll. Well, it's not just a whisper anymore, it's officially happening! We’ve just shared the faces of the precious souls who have secured their seats, an astonishing 10 dogs and 6 cats, each one leaving behind the grim realities of a rural pound, heading towards a future filled with love.
Among these brave travelers are some fragile lives with medical needs, cases we simply couldn't turn away. You know our unwavering promise: we never, ever say no to those who need us most, especially when their health hangs in the balance. But with every life saved, comes the stark reality of the costs. These beautiful animals are arriving with more than just hope, they’re bringing with them the promise of significant vet bills.
The journey itself, bringing them safely to our care, is a considerable expense. Add to that the essential vet checks, vaccinations, microchipping, and desexing for every single one, and suddenly, the numbers become daunting. We’re currently looking at an estimated $8,000 just to cover the initial care for these 16 souls. This doesn't even begin to account for the unknown costs for our two medical cases, whose detailed needs we’ll only fully uncover once they are with us.
We are a small rescue, born from a deep love for animals, a handful of friends who simply couldn't stand by while so many suffered. We pour our hearts, our time, and our energy into saving these lives. As much as we dream of having bottomless pockets, the truth is, we don't. And that’s why, today, we come to you, our incredible villagers, our extended family.
You are the ones who always step forward, a beacon of hope when we need it most.
