Two gorgeous seniors I visit monthly in their homes for massage, laser therapy, PEMF and/or dry needling 🌞
Together, these therapies can encourage deep relaxation, reduce muscle tension caused by compensation, and help ease the discomfort associated with osteoarthritis 🐕
Just as importantly, these visits give me the opportunity to check in with their guardians and see how they’re coping with caring for a senior dog—because their needs can change daily. Some days are good; others are much harder 🤎
Seniorhood is a life stage we don’t always realise we’ve entered until our dog wakes us at 2 am, pacing around the house, or suddenly loses interest in their usual food and has us searching through the pantry for something—anything—they might eat 🧀
Caring for a senior pet can feel overwhelming and, at times, terrifying. No one really prepares us for this part: what to expect, how to manage the changes, and what options are available to support their comfort and quality of life 🥺
This Sunday the 27th, Natalie Moore | Senior Dog Behaviour & Support | Australia will be hosting a Senior Dog Workshop in the clinic, focusing on this important life stage. We’ll discuss practical strategies to help you manage, cope and care for your beloved golden oldie, while enriching their comfort and wellbeing ✨️
I’d love you to join us. Places are limited, and we’re close to full, so don’t miss out on this informative and supportive session 🤍
Meanwhile, enjoy the beautiful faces of Slash and Jake, post treatment, feeling good 🧡
