Luna is a beautiful five-year-old Border Collie searching for a home where she can truly thrive.
She is an incredibly intelligent, energetic, and affectionate girl with a strong working instinct. Nothing makes Luna happier than having a job to do. Herding is her greatest passion, and she flourishes when given purpose, structure, and plenty of mental and physical stimulation.
Luna is ball obsessed, enjoys the company of other working breeds, and loves spending time outdoors, although she's equally happy relaxing inside with her people after a fulfilling day.
Sadly, her family's circumstances have changed, and with two young children, they can no longer provide the lifestyle that allows Luna to be her best. This decision has been made with great love and after much consideration.
We believe Luna would be best suited to an active, experienced home—ideally on acreage or a farm, or with someone who understands the unique nature of working Border Collies. While she is gentle with children, she would be happiest in a home without young kids.
Luna is desexed, healthy, and has been lovingly cared for her entire life. She has a wonderful heart and so much to offer the right person.
