Ever wondered how your Cavoodle sees the world? 🐶✨

Dogs experience the world a little differently to us — and their eyes are specially designed for the things that matter most to them!

🌙 Better in low light – Dogs have more light-sensitive rod cells, helping them see better in dim conditions.

💙💛 They see fewer colours – Dogs mainly see shades of blue and yellow rather than the full range of colours we do.

👀 A wider field of view – Their eye placement gives many dogs a broader view, helping them detect movement around them.

🩺 Eye care matters! – Keep an eye out for redness, discharge, cloudiness, squinting or any changes in your dog’s eyes. Early veterinary checks can make a big difference.

🐶 Did you know that when puppies are born their eyes are sealed for the first 2 weeks of life, protecting them as they further develop 💕

Those gorgeous floppy ears aren’t just cute — they’re amazing little sound detectors! ✨

🐾 Dogs can hear much higher frequencies than us and are brilliant at pinpointing where sounds come from.

🐶Did you know? Puppies are born completely deaf. Their ear canals are sealed for the first 2 weeks of life, helping protect them while they finish developing. 🐾

😂 And then there’s selective hearing…

“Come inside!” 👂 Nothing.

A dog’s sense of smell is incredibly powerful and they use their noses to gather information about the world around them — from identifying other animals to detecting where you’ve been.

That’s why sniffing on walks is so important! 👃🌿

🐾 Meet the Treasured Cavoodles Boss🐾

Hi, I’m Jess Treasure, the face behind Treasured Cavoodles 💜🐶

I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember, but over the years I’ve developed a very special love for oodles — and especially the gorgeous, cuddly Cavoodle! 🥰🐶💕

My passion for animals led me to complete my Diploma of Animal Health Technology, and in 2013 In Canada I qualified as a Registered Veterinary Technician. In Australia this translated to an Advanced Veterinary Nurse, however I am finally now recognized here as a Veterinary Technician as educational programs expand 👩🏼‍⚕️🐾🇦🇺

With well over a decade of veterinary experience, my goal with Treasured Cavoodles is to combine my professional knowledge with my genuine love for dogs, raising happy, healthy and well-socialised puppies who are cherished from the very beginning. 💕🐾

📣💜Oodle Adventures Update🌳🌊 🐩

After a lot of thought over the last couple months, I’ve decided it’s time to take a little step back for a while from running our Oodle Adventures. 🥲🐕

Life is incredibly full at the moment. Between being a mum to three young beautiful kids, working as a vet nurse, juggling family life, and feeling the fatigue that comes with parenting, the extra driving involved with organising Oodle Adventures has become a bit harder than it used to be. We also have some travel coming up, and with any luck, Maple 🍁🐶 will be welcoming puppies this spring, which will be another exciting (and busy!) chapter for our family. 🏡💜

This definitely isn’t goodbye though. Oodle Adventures has brought so many wonderful friendships, happy dogs, and unforgettable memories into our lives, and I simply love it too much to walk away completely. 💕

For now, my plan is to keep the community together by organising regular FREE local Oodle meet-ups so our pups can still run, play, and make new friends while we all catch up too. 🐶🧍🏼‍♀️

Thank you to everyone who has supported Oodle Adventures, joined our walks, and helped create such a kind and welcoming community. Your support means more than you know, and I can’t wait to see you all at our local meet-ups.

This isn’t the end of Oodle Adventures—just a change of pace for this season of life. 🌳🌊💜
