🌊 I've been working on a new motif - the beautiful swirling, curling wave 🌊 I'm interested in the idea of a collective consciousness, a universal connection 🌊 As the single, individual drop
of water returns to the ocean, it becomes part of a bigger whole, a magnificent & dynamic, interconnected & powerful force 🌊 I have been struggling with the composition of this piece, but today I have made a breakthrough - such a great feeling 🌊

🩷 So proud of Maddie - one of the young artists that I mentor - who is taking a new & exciting step in her creative career 🩷 Maddie is running a workshop during the school holidays, for young people living with a disability 🩷 Maddie will be teaching us how to make an origami bookmark, with beautiful papers & decorative materials 🩷 I can't tell how how proud I am of Maddie for designing this class 🩷 Please share this poster with anyone who you think might be interested, & remember to book via the QR code 🩷 The workshop is on Wednesday 9 July, 10am-12md, at the Ballarat Central Library 🩷

🌳 Adding some cute tree motifs to this current body of work 🌳 Playing with some of my favourite marks, & enjoying this wonderful process 🌳 I have one of my long, landscape compositions on the go at the moment too - but I'm not sure about it yet - it's NQR 🌳 Absolutely LOVING my mark making right now - fineliner & pen on paper - how scrumptious - my most deeply authentic mark - part of me & my character - this is me - pouring myself onto the page 🌳 p.s. I also adore the word, "motif", when I think about it, & say it, I reckon my heart skips a beat 🌳
