After careful consideration we have decided to close the salon on Tuesday 27th January.

With the forecast not changing the last few days and the experts advising it will be dangerously hot, we have made the decision early with the long weekend in mind and with the dogs best interest at heart.

Safety and ethics always first and foremost.

With a forecast of 40+ degrees imminent please keep your pups cool and comfortable with frozen treats, cool fresh water and lots of shade and airflow. Be conscious that even mild excercise in this heat can be extremy detrimental and heat stress can come on with little warning in such temperatures. If you ever worried your pup is suffering from heat stroke or heat stress never hesitate to contact your vet, better to be safe than sorry! 🐾

We will be keeping our own pets and livestock cool and comfortable on Tuesday so we may not be available via phone or messages but we will endeavour to get back to everyone as soon as we can.

Many thanks to our Tuesday clients for putting their babies first always and coming in tomorrow for their appointments instead 💕

As some people may know I live on property in an area that’s been flagged to evacuate.

I’m not sure what the next few hours will bring but if I have to cancel TOMORROWS reschedules from Wednesday and Friday at short notice then I deeply apologise. Im guttered to muck people around.

I’m hopeful we will be ok, we are currently safe and monitoring conditions, But I wanted to be as transparent as I could incase.

I will be in touch with those scheduled IF I have to cancel you. However if you don’t hear from me presume we are good for tomorrow as scheduled 💕🐾

With extreme heat expected tomorrow, we’ve had to make the decision to close the grooming room for the day to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all our furry clients.

Thank you to our amazing clients for being so understanding while we reschedule - your dogs’ safety will always come first for me.

A friendly reminder to keep your pups cool tomorrow: fresh water, shade and airflow are essential, and please skip walks and exercise.

Heat stroke can happen much faster than people realise. Look after those precious fur babies 🐾☀️

What a difference a few months make!

Miss Lola went from been clipped, back to been traditionally handstripped and what a difference it’s made to her skin and coat health!

Her undercoat had taken over and become so profuse it had caused her to completely change colour and texture.

Her human mum has worked hard alongside us to get her coat slowly back to its original settings and we are now seeing the hard work pay off 😍
