ATTENTION ALL RABBIT OWNERS - VACCINATE NOW! 🐰🐰🐰

Release of Rabbit Harmorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV1-K5 calicivirus strain) is scheduled for early March 2025 in the Greater Sydney LGAs, including the Central Coast, to control wild rabbits.

Domestic rabbits need to be vaccinated, kept away from any contact with wild rabbits or anything contaminated by wild rabbits (preferably indoors), and protected from biting insects (fly screens & other deterrents).

Clinical signs include inappetance, lethargy, fever, or sudden death.

We recommend checking your rabbit’s vaccination status is current with the latest Filavac VHD K C+V annual vaccine.
