Hills Locality Bobtail, Suspected Female, Experienced Keeper Only

Willow has officially been cleared for adoption! She’s a stunning Hills locality bobtail with a gentle soul and a nervous streak from past experiences. She isn’t your typical beginner-friendly bobtail — she needs someone calm, patient, and confident with slow-bonding reptiles.

🌿 Willow’s Personality
-Skittish, easily startled, and sensitive to fast movements
-Prefers quiet environments and minimal handling
-Not suitable for children or display-style setups
-Food motivated and gaining confidence eating out in the open
-Favourite treats: bee pollen and chicken

🏡 Husbandry Needs
Will only be adopted to someone who is fully set up and experienced. She requires:
-Multiple hides to feel secure
-A stable, low-stress home
-Calm, predictable routines
-No high-traffic homes or young children

💛 Adoption Conditions
If circumstances ever change, I ask that Willow come back to me. She will always have a safe place here at The Regal Reptile.

-Experienced with bobtails or other skinks
-Already set up with an appropriate enclosure
-Patient, gentle, and happy to work at her pace
-Committed to her long-term wellbeing

Hey everyone,

Firstly, we’d like to apologise for being a little out of reach lately — it’s been a mix of technical hiccups and personal commitments that have kept us quieter than usual. We truly appreciate your patience and continued support. 💜

We’re doing a final clearance of our bulk frozen snake food before pausing orders for a while.

Frozen Snake Food – Clearance Sale:

Once this batch is gone, food orders will be paused until things settle.

Back from holiday and already proving I’m terrible at sitting still…
The next care guide is off being reviewed… so naturally, my brain said: ‘Hey, let’s start another one!’ 🐍

This September as of the 8th, The Regal Reptile is off on a long-awaited quest (don’t worry, no dragons involved… probably 😉).
That means no food orders until October.
But never fear! You can still reach out for help, advice, and reptile chatter, and there’s still plenty of behind-the-scenes magic happening. ✨

We’ll return in October, refreshed and ready to serve you and your scaly fellowship. 🦎✈️🚢

We’re proud of the care guides we’ve developed. For the harder-to-research topics, we’ve gone the extra step of having them reviewed by veterinarians, experienced keepers, and published authors. Our goal has always been to make husbandry knowledge accurate, accessible, and freely available — because good information shouldn’t be gatekept.

It’s a little ironic that evidence-based resources aren’t always welcomed everywhere, but we remain committed to supporting the community with open, reliable information. While we’re always open to expert feedback, we stand by the work we’ve done to help keepers and their animals thrive.

And the exciting part? The next guide is already in the works ✨. Any guesses which superstar critter we’re tackling next? 👀
