Excited to announce Chilli has found her forever home!
Was lovely to have such an overwhelming amount of interest in her.
The first person to view chilli had a fantastic connection with her and we can’t wait to see her excel In life after racing in her fantastic new home! 💕💕💕

🌟Chilli 🌟
4yr old TB mare, roughly 16.1/2hh, retired from her final racing preparation 3 weeks ago, only trialed never actually made it to the races as she was just too slow!

Over the past 3 weeks she has started some schooling in the arena, she has had her first look at some poles and we’ve had a few nice relaxing walks around the property. Shes definitely enjoying the slower pace of life away from the track. Chilli has 3 lovely paces, she’s sensible, bold and very willing to give everything a go.

I’ve worked with chilli on and off since she was a foal, and she’s always been one of my favourites, would love to keep her and put more work into her before finding her a forever home but unfortunately I have too many other horses in work at the moment.

Although Chilli is a very sweet mare and has taken everything in her stride so far she is still very green and new to life outside of racing and will therefore need a confident rider who has experience with OTTB’s, please do not enquire if you are a beginner, or someone lacking confidence.

Drummy strutting his stuff in the arena! Massive thanks to Drum’s amazing owner Bernie Hiles for letting me take my time with this big fella, we backed Drummy at the start of the year and then gave him a few months off to mature and process everything he’d learnt. This is his 10th session back and his 4th ride out in the arena and we’re super happy with how nicely he’s going!

Massive thanks to Grgric for lending me her beautiful mare Conteeka (aka Teek) so I could have a go at my first endurance ride! Teek was a little machine and absolutely breezed through the 18ks. Also big thanks to Western Australian Endurance Riders Association Inc. (WAERA) and the volunteers for putting on a fantastic clinic, it’s was super informative and everyone was so welcoming and friendly!

🐰🐴 Even at Easter, we still have work and training to do.

Wouldn’t have it any other way though, especially with a small ish chocolate bunny on hand to celebrate between rides. 🍫💛

Happy Easter everyone from me and the horses.
