Hope it blows over today!
Before I get blown over
Beautiful!
Wild!!!
And somewhere unpleasant 😬🤣
8km marked on foot! Little legends! We beat the rain! Great views
Out exploring some new tracks this evening
These got pretty rocky & rutty underfoot, so striked off the potential list. We did get a good 15km hill training in though and the return views with the sun setting were spectacular- unfortunately couldn’t capture the beauty of the sunset with my phone
Tamar valley view from 25km section of leg 1.
What a day to be out riding!!
Hoping you all found time this weekend to enjoy the views & winter sunshine from the saddle, looking out between the ears of your trusted companion 🐴🏇🏼
We had a wonderful bush ride with magnificent views of the beach 🌊, snow capped mountains 🏔️ & even the Tamar River.
We can’t promise, we can only hope, the day & views will be this perfectly magnificent on the 16th September. However we are confident that if you are keen to try endurance or thinking about coming along and doing another ride you will not regret it. Our crew of 7 horses & riders were all extremely happy with our 1st 40km leg (which also included 10km of the 12km ride).
16th of September, Bakers Beach Rd, do yourself a favour- lock the date into the calendar- come a try Endurance 😊
Feeling excited again, out confirming our 12km & 40km tracks for Bakers Beach Ride on 16th September.
We had a super disappointing week following a final ‘no’ from Parks & Wildlife that we will not be permitted to use any of the horse trails in Narawantapu National Park or access Bakers Beach for the 2023 event 😥💔
However we have re-routed our 1st leg and we are excited that we have some fantastic forest trails & awesome views to share with our endurance family & horse community for our ride.
Don’t fall for the winter blues, each day gets longer from here- make the most of whatever sunshine comes through and get your butt in the saddle training your ponies ready - you know we want to see see you there!!
