We welcomed these two boys to the crew yesterday.
An exchequer Leghorn (white eggs) and a young cream legbar (blue eggs).
Both boys have great temperaments (so far) and we will be offering fertile eggs in the coming months from the exchequer Leghorn and crested cream legbar pens.

It's lovely to be able to start adding these blue cream legbar eggs to the cartons now 👏

🌟Exchequer Leghorns 🌟
We welcomed these 3 beautiful girls this afternoon to the team.
They will bring beautiful large crisp white eggs to the egg cartons and I will find a suitable rooster to run with them for fertile eggs and chicks in the future.
Massive thanks to Pyalong Boutique Poultry for these beautiful girls (i know they were popular) and Tony from The Critter Coach for delivering them.

When I told the girls yesterday "I need more eggs" one particular girl delivered me a 2 for 1 with this enormous 70gm double yolker today.
These double yolkers are approx 1 in every 1000 eggs and happen when the hen releases 2 yolks in her reproductive tract in quick succession and the shell forms around both.
