It’s that magical time of year again — Christmas is just around the corner, and we’re so excited to celebrate with our wonderful Wildfire community! 🎄✨

This year we’ve organised two special get-togethers, and everyone is invited: clients, friends, owners, sponsors, and anyone who has been part of our journey in 2025. Whether you’d like to drop in for a quick hello or stay for the whole celebration, we would absolutely love to see you.

🎅 Saturday 13th December – SANDY HOLLOW HOTEL

From 4pm onwards
Join us for a relaxed afternoon and evening in the air-conditioning, with complimentary canapés and full access to the bar and bistro for drinks and dinner.
We’ll also be handing out some light-hearted awards and sharing plenty of laughs to wrap up an incredible year.

🎄 Saturday 20th December – WILDFIRE EQUESTRIAN

From 9am
The amazing photographer Diane Smith will be on site ready to create beautiful Christmas-themed photos — whether it’s you, your kids, your horses, your dogs, or the whole crew!
We’ll be running time slots to keep things smooth, with extra hands available to wrangle ponies, hold animals, or help little ones smile for the camera. 📸✨

After the photos, we’ll fire up the BBQ for a low-key lunch. Bring a plate to share, unwind, and enjoy a laid-back post-photoshoot catch-up with everyone.

Honestly one of my bucket list items; and I’m just so stoked to have been able to share some parts of myself and hopefully open up conversations about coaching, riding, physiology and everything in between. So I really hope everyone loves it and it’s something I can do again!

Meet Nick – a truly striking, dappled grey gentleman with a kind heart and a beautiful brain to match. This eye-catching gelding turns heads wherever he goes and has the movement and presence to shine in any arena.

Nick had a later start to his career, being professionally broken and educated in dressage at age 8, then sold to a dedicated adult amateur who has continued to develop his potential with care and consistency.

On the flat, he is schooling at a solid Novice/Elementary level, showing three lovely, balanced paces and a genuine willingness to learn. He has also recently started schooling 80cm + showjumping and cross country and is showing promise as a talented all-rounder with plenty of scope.

Nick is a clever, curious horse who absolutely loves to work. He thrives on having a job to do and builds a lovely connection with his rider – always giving 110%.

He has been with me for the past 9 months, continuing his education, and has been out to dressage protocol days and an Agricultural Show – handling himself with maturity and a cool head.

This is a very regretful sale, only due to the owner’s lack of time. Nick deserves to continue his journey with someone who can give him the time and partnership he thrives on.

He would suit a confident intermediate rider through to a professional looking for a seriously classy project to bring up the levels in dressage, eventing or showing.
