Flopsy gets a gold star for being the bravest bunny ever!
He came in to visit Dr Louise to have his Crown Jewels removed 🙊

Here he is pictured with Nurse Caitie who has a special interest in Exotics and so cared for him for the day. It included mandatory post surgery cuddles, topping up his rocket 🥬 and a selfie or two

Thank you to Flopsy’s family for trusting Greencross Chatswood with their special boy and allowing us to share his gorgeous face with you all

Meet sweet little Kiki 🦘

Kiki was found by a member of the public with a laceration to her ankle. Thankfully, our amazing wildlife carer Kristy brought this beautiful girl into Greencross Vets South Morang to get her the care she needed.

Dr Kayla carefully stitched up Kiki’s ankle, making it her first-ever kangaroo stitch-up! ✨ Nurse Kiara was also there to monitor the procedure and make sure she was well looked after❤️

Kiki will be heading to her wildlife carer’s home today where she’ll stay for a little while to heal and grow before she can eventually be released back into the wild.

We’re so grateful to everyone who helped this sweet girl and feel very lucky to be able to care for our amazing Australian wildlife! 🦘💚

Turns out the cone makes everything I say a lot louder which nobody told me about, so if you can hear me from down the street that’s why. Also, a really big thanks to everyone at Greencross Vets because they were so nice to me and I had a really good nap there, honestly top three naps of my life

LOST BIRD!

Have you lost your friend? 🐦
Today we had a friendly alexandrine parrot dropped in to us who is clearly someone's pet and we want to reunite them to it's owner! We unfortunately don't have any tags or a microchip so we aren't able to track down where this bird calls home!

If you have lost your bird, please call us on 03 9885 6224 or email us at [email protected]

Proof of ownership will be required!

This time of year our team (and all vet clinics around the world) receive a higher intake of toxicity cases - especially chocolate & raisins! 🍫🐰

This is a reminder to keep your loved ones safe by making sure all toxic foods are out of reach!
Chocolate is of course unsafe, but also make sure hot crossed buns are kept out of reach as they commonly have chocolate, sultanas or other nasties that can cause serious health problems

Keeping chocolate out of reach not only means our furry friends are safe, but it also means more chocolate for us!

If you're ever concerned about a possible toxicity, call our friendly team on 03 9885 6224
Or if we are closed you can contact the Australian Animal Poisons Hotline for free on 1300 869 738 (1300 TOX PET)

One of our team members has been a foster carer for Freckles & Pete - two adorable little kittens!
The whole team at Ashburton are obsessed with these two kittens and they are ready to find their forever homes!
Both kittens are microchipped, vaccinated and desexed!

*Please note - they are adopted through a rescue agency and not privately through the clinic*

Pete and Freckles are two bonded kittens that have found each other along the way after having a rough start to life, both found wandering on their own. They have very different personalities...
