That’s a Wrap! 🎉

On July 26th, the incredible troopers of the Redback Garrison - 501st Legion completed their final 20km walk from Burleigh Heads to Arundel — marking the 5th and final year of their amazing fundraising journey for APRDA.

From all of us at Arundel Park Riding for the Disabled, thank you for your dedication, energy, and heart. Your efforts over the years have made a real difference in the lives of our riders, and we are beyond grateful for your continued support.

Here’s to the troopers — you’ve gone above and beyond. 💚

🌟 A huge thank you to Nerang RSL & Memorial Club for their generous donation towards new fans for our stables! 🙏🐎

The fans will be installed over the school holidays—just in time to keep our horses and team cool and comfortable during the warmer months ahead ☀️

We’d also like to thank Liz and Shari for proudly representing APRDA at their Community fund day.

Yes the horses did get birthday cake after Amy and Lily sang happy birthday and blew the candles out. A very tasty oat, carrot and pear cake. Tommy was particularly keen on it !

🖤🐴FINAL TROOPER TREK FOR APRDA!🖤🐴

This is it – the FINAL YEAR of the 20km Walk for Arundel Park RDA, and we’re sending it off in true Redback Garrison - 501st Legion style! 💥

On Saturday, 26th July, the amazing crew from the 501st Legion will suit up and walk from Burleigh Heads McDonald's (departing 7:30am) all the way to Arundel – raising funds to support the life-changing work we do at APRDA.

We’re thrilled to share that we received a generous $3,000 donation from the Nerang RSL & Memorial Club Community Fund to go towards installing industrial ceiling fans in the stables! 🐴💨

This upgrade will make a huge difference in keeping our horses, volunteers, coaches and participants comfortable — especially during those warmer months ☀️
