Everybody meet Nala 😽

Nala is a 6 year old Domestic Short Hair who also goes by ‘Monkey’ and ‘Da Baby’. She’s the beautiful baby of one of our lovely vets 👩‍⚕️

Her favourite ways to spend the day are sleeping in the sun or on the couch, reminding her humans when it’s breakfast and dinner time or having a Creamy Treat.

Dr Kate’s gorgeous boy Ollie came in for a dental and enjoyed lots of cuddles with mum 💕

As you can see in the before photos, Ollie’s teeth have some tarter build up around his gum line.
This is removed using an ultrasonic hand scaler, getting under the gum line as well as the surface of the tooth nice and clean.
The scale is then followed by a polish that makes Ollies teeth look shiny and his breath smell nice and fresh!

You met Cora on Monday, now say hello to her dog Benji aka Benjamin Buttons 💕💕 He is a beautiful Border Collie, loooves walks and tug of war games as well as cuddles and sometimes he is subjected to his mums sewing projects (failed dog jumper). As you can see he’s the king of side eye 😒

🐾 Meet the team Mondays 🐾. Say hello to Cora 😁

She is one of our receptionists here at Armadale!
Originally studying nursing she joined us as a trainee nurse on placement. Now pursuing fashion business she works as part of our friendly reception team, her passion for animals and health is apparent 💗💗

Cora grew up in Melbourne but has travelled the world due to family connections in England, her favourite place so far has been Fuente de in Spain. Her favourite pastime is reading, horse riding and walks with her dog Benji. Affectionately known as Benjamin buttons they spend all their free time together 🐶🐶🐶

You met Nurse Nye on Monday, now it’s time to say hello to her beautiful boy Deacon 🐾

Deacon is a 2.5 year old Long Haired Miniature Dachsund who loves nothing more than his mum. Deacon is Nye’s first dog and she can’t imagine a life without him. Some of his favourite things include:

❣️ Cuddles with mum
🐕 Running around with his friends at the dog park
🧀 CHEESE, LOTS OF CHEESE

Fun fact!

The Dachsund breed had roots in Germany. The name translates to ‘Badger dog’ which makes sense as they were originally bred to hunt badgers! Their bodies are short and long in order for them to fit in burrows, their bark loud to let their owners know their position within these burrows, and their front paws large to allow them to dig with ease.
