Training for Professionals: Dog Handling Skills for Rangers.

Last Friday, Dutchfield organized a PowerPoint presentation with topics like
* Why Dog Handling Matters in Ranger Work
* Understanding Dog Behavior
* Safety Principles for Rangers
* Approaching and Engaging with Dogs
* Handling Equipment and Techniques
* Handling Different Dog Types
followed by a practical session with field scenarios (like the owner has been taken to hospital after being involved in a car crash and the dog is still in the car; it might be injured and stressed).

It was great fun, thank you to all my volunteers who allowed the rangers to practice their skills on the dogs!

Feedback from the Senior Ranger of the Donnybrook - Balingup Shire: "We had a great day and got a lot out of the training thank you again Becky, you are a true professional and expert in your field, thank you for sharing your knowledge."
