We have had a few messages asking to come and play with our kittens recently. We don’t allow anyone to play with our babies unless you’re the new owner coming to visit. Visits begin one week post first vaccination. (Around 11 weeks)

-Kittens are precious while they build up their immune system.
-We do not want anyone bringing diseases in.
-Mothers need good quality time with their babies while younger to establish a bond.
-Why do we vaccinate at this age? There are several reasons, one of them being how long we leave our kittens with mum, antibodies received and when they wane in a kitten’s system.
-We are very open to video calls prior to 11 weeks so you can see your baby.
-Babies act very differently in our home than they will yours due to being with their litter mates.

We find that babies going home at 14-16 weeks of age are when they are most confident within themselves. They’ll still need time to settle in and adjust, but the majority only require 48 -72 hours - sometimes not even that long. This is our protocol, your breeder may do it differently.
