I’ve recently heard a few concerning stories about SA backyard breeders, so I wanted to share a friendly reminder to be cautious when choosing where to get your kitten.

Reputable, registered breeders will always desex their kittens before they go to their new homes. Kittens should also have at least one vaccination, be microchipped, and come with a health record as well as a sales agreement.

A trustworthy breeder will be registered with an official feline association and will gladly show you the living conditions of their cats and kittens. DACO is not an official feline association, it’s a South Australian database used by all councils and used to record council registrations, breeder information and microchips etc.

For the health and safety of your new companion, only bring home a kitten that has had all the necessary vet work completed

We’re no longer accepting deposits for our next Golden British litter later this year between Emmy & Sunny 😺 (We are still taking deposits for the next ragdoll litter)

Don’t worry — we’ll be opening the waitlist soon for the litter after that (Tiana x Sunny) for 2026. Yes, we plan ahead as we only pair our cats when we know they’ve got future humans eagerly waiting so we are not breeding unnecessarily.

Why deposits? We've had time wasters before and want to ensure you're as committed as we are.

It's been suspiciously quiet around here… probably because our adorable British Shorthair and Longhair kittens have packed their bags and strutted off to their new homes like the royalty they are. This litter was an absolute delight—we laughed, we cuddled, we may have been manipulated by big eyes and tiny toe beans.

We hope you enjoyed watching them grow as much as we enjoyed being their humble servants. Fear not! I’ll be spamming your feed with more cute kitten pics over the next few weeks. Because who needs self-control?

Our next batch of golden British fluffballs is expected later this year. Until then, we're buzzing with excitement (and stocking up on lint rollers) as we prepare to welcome our new imports—Ragdolls and a dashing British boy—starting next week and rolling into August. Ragdoll program: rebooting with maximum floof.

Stay tuned. Things are about to get adorably chaotic again. 😻

Feeling a little sad as we pack up the kitten room... or maybe just recovering from 14 weeks of kitten zoomies, tiny toe attacks, and constant judgmental stares. This was our first litter in three years, and somehow it went faster than a cat knocking a glass jar off the counter.

To say this litter was fun would be an understatement - they've given us non-stop entertainment, snuggles , and more dramatic meows than a soap opera.

Now they're off to their new homes to rule their kingdoms (and humans), and we're left with a quiet house and a lot few litter tray cleanings.

Thank you to everyone who's followed along on this wild whiskered journey.
