I started Wildie Bites as a way to raise funds for a rabbit rescue mission I took on mid 2021. As that mission was coming to an end, I really wanted to carry on helping rescue bunnies and piggies in need. So, I decided to officially make Wildie Bites a business that will continue to support rescues get much needed vet work for the rabbits and guinea pigs in care by donating part proceeds of every purchase.

Treat-sicles are back!! 🍭
With a new nose booping good flavour.

Along with the usual oaten hay and oat flour base we’ve now added a delicious combo of mulberry, watermelon and fennel.

The watermelon and mulberries are grown in our own garden without any nasty sprays. We had bumper crops this year. 🪴😃

Hand sculpted around a mulberry twig and then coated in parsley, rose petals or marigold, there is something for all our fur friends taste buds.

We made up a batch of our flower & herb chaff for our wholesale customer City Barn yesterday and we made up 5 extra bags.

Carrot & Celery Chips are back in stock.

This year we grew an abundance of our own celery for our treats. Spray free.

Yesterday’s harvest was cut by hand and dehydrated to perfection along with carrots for our Carrot & Celery Chips.

These are a perfect hay topper, added to forage boxes or just as bunny and piggy crack. Open the pack and watch what happens. 🐰🐹🤪

It’s Emma here.
I want to let you know about some changes we have going on right now.

Due to unforeseen circumstances we are having to temporarily reduce our product list.
We are going back to basics, back to our hay, oat and mixed, hay & oat based treats only.

This means for the foreseeable future our chaff and toys will be unavailable for purchase.

I really appreciate your understanding and I am sorry to disappoint and inconvenience all of you who love our chaff and toys.

Our twigs are made with a mixed base of oat flour and oaten hay, each mixed with a different delicious mix of fruit, veg and herbs.

They are perfect to break into whatever size treat you desire with ease.

Blueberry, thyme being our very first flavour combo we have added another 4 flavour combinations since. Raspberry and mint being a favourite for buns who are starting to eat again after a bout of illness.

Being Eco friendly is important to us and has been on our minds for many months.

There were many factors I had to take into consideration when choosing an Eco option. I thought of them all and tried many options. None of them ticked all our requirement boxes, but I know being environmentally friendly is also so important to many of our customers. I listened to your thoughts and came up with the best option for us to offer.

If you are passionate about being environmentally friendly, love to compost or recycle and have airtight containers you can reuse just for treaties then this is the option for you. ♻️😃

Within our Eco option we have two choices.

1. Mix my treats - this option is for those who don’t mind a mixed bag of goodies, and maximising the Eco friendliness while minimising the environmental impact, providing as little packaging as possible.

2. Individualise my treats - this option is for those who like their treats separated while still being Eco friendly.

It’s great to be back in action creating lots of goodies for our fur friends again. 🐰🐹🐭

I was back in our HQ yesterday packing order from our huge Boxing Day sale. 😃 If you were lucky enough to grab a bargain your order will be dispatched within coming days.

This week is a huge bake up week, handcrafting fresh treaties for the new year. 😄
I’m not so good at the sharing thing as it brings me a good deal of anxiety, but one of my goals this year is to open up and share more with you. 🙏❤️
