Hi everyone,

Today when came home from work, I was playing with Ella and Nova in the backyard and notice something slightly off with ella.

Contacted the vet and took her in, only to discover she had very early stages of pyometra. With a high chance of it going septic. After consulting with our reproduction team and vet we decided it would be best to desex her as the chance of sepsis was too high. For this reason we no longer have any viable bi***es and do not have any litters planned. At this stage we do not know if we will be getting back into staffords but if we do we will let you know.

Hi everyone,

We've had a few people reach out about up coming litters. Here's a little update on our plans !

Pennyflower Nova Aroha is now desexed. It is always in our mind to keep our girls very healthy. With no plans to breeder her this year with our vets consultation we decided to desex Nova. She has contributed 8 gorgeous pups to our breed and couldn't be happier. Nova now enjoys her continued life of being a couch potato, and going camping with our family (as does Ella).

Trylou Tiger Ellie (Ella) will be mated end of 2024. We are still deciding on the perfect stud. However, all stud options provide us with the prospect of Brindles, Reds, blues and blue fawns. We are not taking a waitlist at this stage. Please keep an eye out for an update later this year.

Happy birthday to my og litter, Sally the cuddle bear, Bonnie the sock thief, Toast the talker, and Rippley the stick lover.

This litter taught me a deeper love for gorgeous Stafford pups and kept us on our toes!

Every litter teaches something new, and I learned the most from this one.

Can't believe it's been 3 years already! Forever grateful to their families for giving them the pawfect life.

It is with heavy hearts to update you all on a few things happening at Novellar.

On Easter Saturday we laid our gorgeous Bonnie to rest. About 12 months ago we found out Bonnie had hip dysplasia. Due to the genetic component it was unethical to continue showing or breeding this line.

Trevor and myself with the amazing collaboration with our vet decided to trial medication and give bonnie the life we knew she deserved. However, eventually the pain became too much for our gorgeous Bonnie.

The gorgeous heart she had was like no other. Loyal and loving she will always be our boo bear.

We hoping she is bouncing in the sky. ❤️
