✨ New Purchase – Babushka’s Pride! ✨

Today we secured BABUSHKA’S PRIDE on Inglis Digital. A beautifully bred $200,000 yearling by Russian Camelot, she’s a genuine staying filly with a deep black-type family behind her.

With just five career starts, she’s already shown promise – including a strong 3rd at Kilmore over a mile about four weeks ago before stepping up to 2000m. Her previous owners were solely focused on metropolitan racing, so we were more than happy to step in and welcome her into the Wellington Racing team.

After she arrives on Monday, we’ll assess whether to give her some valuable time in the paddock to mature and strengthen. With patience and the right preparation, we believe she’ll develop into a lovely staying prospect capable of picking up some nice races.

Foreman’s Gully gets the job done at Albury today with Mitch Aitken aboard. The gear change worked a treat and he travelled beautifully throughout, never in doubt! He’ll take plenty of benefit from the run and now heads towards a race at the Wodonga Cup meeting in three weeks’ time.

Ownership Opportunity – ANGEL OF THE SEA

We’re excited to offer a limited ownership opportunity in Angel of the Sea, a promising 4YO mare by Harry Angel out of Transocean, recently secured through Inglis Digital.

Lightly raced with just 7 starts, Angel has already shown her talent with 1 win and 2 placings. Her maiden victory at Geelong in December was especially impressive — the runner-up that day has since gone on to win at Group 3 level.

Angel arrived at our stables today following a short let-up after her last run in late August. The immediate plan is to give her a run or two this preparation, followed by a well-earned spell in the paddock to set her up for a strong campaign.

This is a great chance to get involved in a mare with upside, solid early form, and untapped potential.
