♦️Craniosacral Treatments♦️
What is Craniosacral Therapy?
Craniosacral therapy is a holistic healing practice that uses very light touching to balance the craniosacral system in the body, which includes the bones, nerves, fluids, and connective tissues of the cranium and spinal area. CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on approach that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance
♦️Kinesiology Taping♦️
The kinesiology tape can be used to alleviate pain, reduce inflammation and bruising, provide support and stability to muscles, joints, tendons and ligaments, and to speed up recovery time following an injury or surgery. It can also be used to tape along the energy meridians to provide treatment for a variety of conditions. Kinesiology tape provides a passive lift to the skin via its elastic properties. This vacuum effect allows the lymphatic and venous drainage systems to drain swollen or bruised tissue quicker than without the kinesiology tape.
The tape used is a flexible heavy duty elastic tape that moves with your horses body. This provides supports to the body parts without the tape slipping. The tape is waterproof and can usually be left on for several days at a time. Horses can resume usual activities and exercise whilst wearing the tape due to its elastic properties.
🔸Equine Deep Tissue and Sports Massage Therapy🔸
Tracy uses a range of techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point, soft tissue release and can devise a stretching and exercise program to suit each individual horse to help maintain your horse’s wellbeing.
Benefits include, but not limited to, pain relief, increased range of ,motion and stamina, positive changes in behaviour, increased circulation, helps to prevent injury, reduces stress and anxiety, immune system support, and improvement to the general health and well being of your horse(s) both physically and mentally.
Animal Neuromyofascial Release Technique
This is a technique used to release and align the body and includes chiropractic, laser therapy and myofascial release.
Adjustments are made either by using the adjusting tool or manually.
The adjusting tool is first used to test along the spine for any areas of dysfunction, then to adjust & release the area, and again to test that the release was successful.
The session is usually finished with laser meridian therapy. This involves stimulating acupressure points using a cold laser. This promotes healing and leaves the animal feeling very relaxed.
