As well as showcasing all the inspirational prints that Alex designed, there will also be additional fundraising activities on the day with all proceeds going to the charities that supported Alex and his family.

There will be a number of lucky square tickets with some great prizes on offer, lolly guessing games and dog treats guessing games plus a huge raffle basket full of doggy goodies!

Welcome to Pawsome Prints by Alex!

Pawsome Prints was created by Alex, a young teen who was diagnosed with cancer in 2024. Alex has been helping his Aunty Tamara at dog markets for 2 years and whilst undergoing treatment, he decided to set up a business to make items with paw prints to sell alongside his aunty’s stall. Sadly, Alex lost his battle with cancer in 2025 and in his memory, we are selling his products for him.

Pawsome Prints will be a stallholder at the Dogs Out at Mawson Lakes on Sunday 21 September 2025 from 10am-3pm. Some of the products we will be selling include t-shirts, candles, mugs and mobile phone cases.

September is Children’s Cancer Awareness Month so in Alex’s memory, all profits will be donated to the Women’s and Children’s Hospital Foundation and Starlight Foundation, 2 charities that offered Alex and his family much comfort, support and joy during his cancer journey.

Come along for a fun day out and to help raise money and awareness during Children’s Cancer Awareness Month. 💛🩵

Medium pig ears are sold for 50 for $105 and large pig ears are 50 for $120 as a comparison.
Great for dog dental health, pig ear treats help to reduce tartar and plaque build up while chewing. These imperfect ears that are a little oily, more of a rubbery texture, crinkled or just simply ugly, but contain the same great rewards for dogs.

DOGS' DAY OUT CANCELLED TODAY DUE TO WEATHER DAMAGE

It is with disappointment and regret that we announce that our Dogs’ Day Out event has been cancelled today!

Next weekend: it's the Dogs' Day Out at Glenelg Winter Arts Festival!

Between 12pm and 4pm next Saturday 20 July, visit some dog-themed stallholders and service providers, get your face painted as your favourite pooch or have a caricature drawn of you and your pet (prices vary).

Join us at 1.30pm for the costume parade, with prizes for best dressed dog and best dog/owner partner costumes!

Well socialised and well behaved dogs are welcome, and are to be kept on a lead at all times. Please note that, with the exception of assistance animals, dogs are not permitted in Glenelg Winter Arts Festival’s performance spaces (The May Wirth and The Kingfisher tents). If you are planning to see a show at the festival, you’ll need to find a poochsitter. 😊 (Dogs on a lead are permitted in the open spaces of Glenelg Winter Arts Festival's site on every other day of the festival too - but the dog-themed activities are happening only next Saturday.)
