Have you ever been surprised by wildlife in your house?🤔

Well, this possum decided to have some fun with a Christmas tree! 🎄

Gill Hicks's dog alerted her to something up their chimney, so they decided to get animal rescue out to help relocate the possum but after setting up a trap they were surprised to find the possum had other plans.

“So, we did all the right things and called the possum-catching experts that could trap the possum and then release it somewhere."

“We put the trap out with an apple, and we went away for a school Christmas function thinking we would give it space and time to find the apple. We then came back to find the apple was gone and the trap open, then realised the possum is loose in the house somewhere."

“We were looking everywhere around the house and suddenly we looked at the Christmas tree and it was there hanging onto the tree where the star was.”

"I just panicked and thought what should we do?"

"We opened the window and shook the tree and apple out the window and it rain out the window. We were so relieved it re-joined the other possums."
