We’re excited to announce our third and possibly final litter: Skadi x Luke 💛

Skadi is our sweet and driven leader, bred by us using imported Czech semen with the super Cafu. She's regularly hitting 32-35 km/h and podiuming at every race she’s entered, including wins at ASSA Nationals, SASDC, and setting a track record at NVSDC.

Luke lives in the Czech Republic with Renata Válková & Jiří Trnka, bred in Finland by Ari Laitinen from imported Cook-line Alaskan huskies. He’s 32 kg of power and speed, a member of mid and long-distance snow World Championship teams, and ran 29 km/h over 25 km in the Unlimited class at the IFSS Worlds.

We can’t wait to see what superstars this combination produces 💛

Finally a moment to check in after a big weekend at the 2025 ASSA Nationals

I lined up in 2 Dog where I finished 3rd overall in a field of 10. Saturday’s run was slow, our females are all in season which had the boys completely off their food and water. It was warm too, so everything just felt heavy.

Sunday went better after we got fluids and a bit of food into Viper. We cooled them well and kept things calmer at the start. That second heat was almost 20 seconds faster, and if we’d run like that both days we would’ve been right up there. The top two were only separated by .7 seconds in the end.

Jarrad ran in Men’s Bikejor and Bike Touring, placing 3rd and 2nd respectively, but Mig didn’t eat from Thursday onwards thanks to the girls, and Eevi nearly sent him over the handle bars a few of times. Not the best weekend for him.

A highlight was seeing so many of Viper and Skadi’s siblings out racing (Cafu x Pepper 2020). They all turned five yesterday, Mave and Elpie placed 2nd in 2 Dog. Mig and Eevi’s brother Finan took out 1st in 1 Dog, another huge achievement for Anthony who now holds that National Title 3 years in a row (Jax x Alice 2022). Freya and Dio were there but had to scratch due to some sad news at home - our heart goes out to Clint and Mandy

I was fourteen when my mum had a stroke. Seventeen when I found sled dog racing.
Back then, home wasn’t safe. It was heavy, loud, unbearable.

We were the Chamberlains - the family with a heart of stone - and behind closed doors, it wasn’t just grief we carried.

There was control.. shame.. silence.
My dad was abusive.
Our history is the kind you don’t get to outrun, not easily.

But then, somehow, I found a sport where running was the whole point.
Where the noise gave way to wind.
Where power came through connection and ganglines.
Where dogs pulled me into a world that didn’t ask about my past, only if I was ready to go.

Sled dog racing didn’t save me, but it gave me somewhere to begin.

My dad, strange as it may be, was entertained by the whole idea.
He bought me my first compression skins in 2015, for my first ever interstate race.
He didn’t see me compete. He never would.
He died suddenly in 2017.

But two weekends ago, I returned to where it all started.
NVSDC, ten years later.
I wore those same skins.
Not because I needed to hold onto him.
But because I made it, and they're still the best thermal compressions I own.

Because ten years ago, I was just a kid
with a Siberian, a fractured home, and a trail in front of me.
Now I run a team of elite dogs.
I’ve built something powerful, intentional, mine.

Sled dog racing isn’t about the podium. Not for me.
It’s about what the trail gave me when I had nothing.
It’s about the silence that lets me breathe.
The freedom to lead.
The fire to go forward, no matter what’s behind me.

This is more than a sport.
It’s my second beginning.
And ten years later, I’m still on the line.

So very true. Puppies are not just a spur of the moment thought there is years of planning , dedication, hard work, time, love and so much passion that goes into them.
I am forever thankful to those who have entrusted us with one of their special puppies 💕 we hope we have done you proud. 🐾
