Murray Bridge GH | June 14

Velvet Fox has got her career underway in brilliant fashion with a win and second, Ben Price takes the reins here. Russian Bobshark will need to improve to figure here in Race 1.

Peta’s Heart was great fresh up Rochelle Milnes takes the reins here second up over the mile in Race 7.

Invertational has the services of Rochelle Milnes, she has had a trial in between runs as she steps up to 1200m in Race 9.

Morphettville | June 7

Russian Bobshark is second up today with Todd Pannell in the saddle. He finds a suitable barrier in Race 8 over the 1000m.

Sachem and Cullen Skink round out the day in the last of the day. Taylor Johnstone will continue her relationship with Sachem, relieving him of two kilos. While Caitlin Jones will hop aboard Cullen Skink.

Morphettville & Caulfield | May 31

Making his debut for the stable is Hello World in Race 6. He comes over from Sydney and looks like he can be well placed in South Australia. Rochelle Milnes takes the reins. Impressive fresh up, La Defense followed that with a disappointing run second up. He has the blinkers applied today with senior jockey Todd Pannell in the saddle. He has trialled in between runs and hopefully we will see him back to his best also in Race 6.

Over in Victoria, Extremely Lucky takes his place in the Listed Bel Esprit Stakes, Luke Cartwright will partner him from Barrier 4 in Race 8.

Clarence has had a freshen following a disappointing run he has trialled in preparation for a return today under Rochelle Milnes in Race 8 at Morphettville.

We are on the lookout for a stable hand to join our excellent team at our Morphettville stable.

Racing experience is not a necessity, but horse experience is preferable. Along with a positive can-do attitude, you must be able to work well independently and as part of a team.

This is a full-time position, with 6 mornings and 2 afternoons per week and every third Sunday.

Salary will be paid at the above award rate in line with experience.

Gawler | May 28

Cicala makes her debut here with Rochelle Milnes aboard; she has prepared well for her debut, and we look forward to seeing how she acquits herself in Race 3.

Resuming from a long spell is Ambleside, he has had a trial to prepare but will likely improve with the run. Ben Price partners with him in Race 4.

Second up today is Hidden Witness, who has improved with her first up run. She will have the services of Rochelle Milnes in Race 5.

Rounding out the day is Peta’s Heart, she is fresh up after a long lay off. Ben Price will partner her in Race 7 over 1500m.

A special farewell to two mares who have made a lasting impact on the Clarken Racing team, Kuroyanagi and Boognish.

Kuroyanagi was a $390,000 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling purchase by Clarken Bloodstock on behalf of Ridgeport Holdings, and from the beginning, she showed immense promise. She created a buzz when Jamie Melham partnered her in a Murray Bridge jump out, and delivered immediately with a dominant debut win.

She stamped herself as one of the country’s most exciting juveniles when beaten just a nose in the Blue Diamond Prelude before running a gallant third in the Group 1 Blue Diamond Stakes. She added valuable black-type in the Listed Lightning Stakes, and later returned to Caulfield to notch a city win under Blake Shinn.

Today, she was sold at the Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale for an incredible $1,000,000 to Dean Hawthorne Bloodstock. A fitting result for a mare who always had the wow factor.

Boognish was another special filly purchased by Clarken Bloodstock, in partnership with Suman Hedge and David Jolly, for $180,000 from the Adelaide Magic Millions Yearling Sale. She was a winner on debut and went on to win three races in total, earning over $200,000 in prize money.

She was stakes placed as a 3YO in the Listed Lightning Stakes, again in the Matrice Stakes, and broke through at black-type level with an impressive win in the Group 3 Proud Miss Stakes under Jamie Melham.

Today, she was secured by respected breeders Gilgai Farm for $240,000. We’ll be watching closely as she begins her next chapter as a broodmare, and we’re excited to follow her progeny in the years to come.

Ballon d’Or is knocking on the door for a victory this preparation. Ben Price takes the reins in Race 3.

Great fresh up, Cullen Skink looks to be set for a good campaign. Ben Price continues his association. He steps up to the mile today in Race 4.

Russian Bobshark has prepared well for his fresh-up assignment in Race 6 where Ben Price will partner him from barrier 5. Also representing the stable is Mazovia with Rochelle Milnes aboard, she was improved last start.

Needing to bounce back from a disappointing run last time out, Hajra will have the services of Connor Murtagh from a suitable wide barrier in Race 7.

Missed out just by the bob of the head last start, Sachem has returned in fantastic fashion. Third up, he finds a suitable race and we feel we will be competitive again with Jason Holder aboard.
