In an effort to raise awareness of what to do in the event you come across small injured wildlife, the label of your BeaniePouch provides step-by-step instructions for how to proceed, to give the animal the best chance for survival.

🌧🌧WINTER PROJECTS💙🐓🐔🐓🐔

👋 Hiya we have had plenty of questions about our green feeders in the shop coop and as promised as part of our "Winter Projects" we would put up the basic process.

🌿 Option one simple and quick is a water up square planter, greens mix and some off cut caging and cable ties, drill 3 hole close to the rim and simply cut the caging to suit, small holes work best if its full or if you 2/3 fill with wicking mix and then let the greens grow through, this avoids the chicken pecking down to the roots

🐓 Bed option using water up liner, this is the 1240 setup, easy to use and build if you wish (see photos), this was growing like crazy the past summer🌿🌿 every day new growth through the cage and the chickens morning ritual was to visit it for their daily dose of morning greens 🤣. Gate hinges have been used to make the lid, allowing easy removal and maintenance, This feeder should last many years🤙

💡You can add wheels to one end, a base and a simple handle at the other to move around your coop or yard 👌

MULCH | Hasn’t the rain this morning been so welcomed!!! 🌧️
But with the added moisture and cooler temperatures no doubt in a few days those pesky weeds will begin to show their stalks.
A thick layer of mulch keeps the moisture IN and weeds OUT! Plus, keeps your garden looking tidy! :)
