Good afternoon, I am delighted to announce that my pet sitting services will resume on December 26, 2024, in preparation for the new year and upcoming school holidays. Today is set to be a scorcher!

Please make sure your pets have plenty of water and shade.
Do not try to walk your dogs in the heat. If the road or footpath is hot to the touch, then stay at home until it is cooler. Go for a walk either early morning or late evening.

If you have wildlife around your property, make sure you have water bowls, buckets, troughs, filled with fresh water.

Stay cool and stay safe 🐾

Happy New Year!
I have been quite slack with my posting, we’ve been extremely busy over the Christmas break with a variety of fur friends including dogs, cats, many many horses, fish and even lizards!
Here’s a few of our friends that we got to spend time with over our holiday break.

Today is set to be a scorcher! Ensure that your fur friends have shade and water easily accessible and keep and eye out for any symptoms of heat stroke.
Symptoms include:
- Panting which increases as heatstroke progresses
- Drooling, salivating
- Agitation, restlessness
- Very red or pale gums
- Bright red tongue
- Increased heart rate
- Breathing distress
- Vomiting Diarrhea (possibly with blood)
- Signs of mental confusion, delirium
- Dizziness, staggering
- Lethargy, weakness
- Muscle tremors
- Seizures
- Collapsing and lying down
- Little to no urine production

If you are unsure whether you need to take your pet to be checked please call your local vet for further advice.
