Am 21. & 22. Februar waren wir mit einer Auswahl unserer Tiere bei der alljährlichen Alpaka Expo in Graz, organisiert vom ÖAZV.
Wir bedanken uns beim gesamten Showteam für die Organisation sowie der Richterin Julia Corrigan-Stewart, die mit viel Fachkompetenz, Ruhe und guter Laune durch die Show führte.
Zu unseren diesjährigen Erfolgen:
Unsere Margaret (Mariella x Jux) konnte an den Erfolg des letzten Jahres ihrer großen Halbschwester Myfanwy (Mariella x Timogen) anknüpfen und wurde ebenso Grand Champion Intermediate Stuten 🏆. Besonders ihre hochfrequente Struktur, ihre Feinheit und ihre Gleichmäßigkeit haben die Richterin überzeugt.
Unser grauer Hengst Nimbus konnte auch dieses Jahr den CC erreichen, diesmal in der Klasse Intermediate. Seine Feinheit und Gleichmäßigkeit haben der Richterin sehr gut gefallen.
Besonders freuen wir uns natürlich über unsere Caoimhe (Caitilin x Ozzie), die sich knapp gegen unsere Margaret durchgesetzt hat und sich seit diesem Wochenende Best Stute Expo 2026 🏆 nennen darf.
Miriquidis Raindancer, in den wir uns damals als Fohlen spontan verliebt haben, konnte ebenfalls seinen Erfolg des letzten Jahres weiterführen und erreichte diesmal nicht „nur“ den CC, sondern wurde sogar zum Grand Champion Intermediate Hengst 🏆prämiert. Wir freuen uns ihn in unserer Herde zu haben und gratulieren Babett und Wolfgang von Miriquidi zu ihren Zuchterfolg!
RC weiß Junior wurde unser Alfred (Aisling x Ozzie), das allerdings hinter dem späteren Best of Show Hengst Millenium von Waratah Flats Austria der Familie Purrer. An dieser Stelle möchte wir Thomas und Christina nochmals herzlichen zur ihren Zuchterfolg gratulieren - sehr verdient, ein wahrhaft außergewöhnlicher Hengst!
Beim Bewerb Breeders Best konnten wir einen 2. Platz erreichen, eine ganz besondere Auszeichnung.🏅
Die Richterin Julia Corrigan-Stuart hat bei unseren Tieren immer wieder die Feinheit, Gleichmäßigkeit und hochfrequente Struktur gelobt, was uns sehr freut und uns in der Richtung unseres Zuchtprogramms bestätigt.

On February 21st and 22nd, we attended the annual Alpaca Expo in Graz with a selection of our animals, organized by the ÖAZV.
We would like to sincerely thank the entire show team for the excellent organization, as well as judge Julia Corrigan-Stewart, who guided the show with great expertise, calmness, and a positive attitude throughout.
Our successes this year:
Our Margaret (Mariella x Jux) followed in the footsteps of her older half-sister Myfanwy (Mariella x Timogen) from last year and was awarded Grand Champion Intermediate Female 🏆. The judge was particularly impressed by her high-frequency crimp structure, fineness, and uniformity.
Our grey male Nimbus also achieved a CC this year, this time in the Intermediate class. His fineness and uniformity were especially praised.
We are, of course, especially delighted with Caoimhe (Caitilin x Ozzie), who narrowly surpassed Margaret and has held the title Best Female Expo 2026 🏆 since this weekend.
Miriquidis Raindancer, whom we instantly fell in love with as a cria, was able to build on last year’s success as well. This time he not only achieved a CC, but was also awarded Grand Champion Intermediate Male 🏆. We are very happy to have him in our herd and congratulate Babett and Wolfgang of Miriquidi on their breeding success.
Our Alfred (Aisling x Ozzie) was awarded Reserve Champion White Junior, behind the later Best of Show Male Millenium of Waratah Flats Austria from the Purrer family. We would like to once again warmly congratulate Thomas and Christina on their breeding success – very well deserved, a truly exceptional male!
In the Breeders Best competition, we were also proud to achieve 2nd place – a very special recognition 🏅.
Throughout the show, the judge repeatedly highlighted the fineness, uniformity, and high-frequency structure of our animals. This makes us very proud and confirms that we are on the right path with our breeding program.
