SHORES OF ASYUT — part of Adventures of ANTAL — recalls the hour when the day’s heat fades and the desert hush returns. The car rests under the palms, its paint veiled in dust. On the veranda of a grand hotel, travellers in linen sit easy, a gramophone playing softly beside them. The glasses are cold, the gin sharp with lime. Beyond the balustrade, the sun sinks slow and gold, and the evening drifts over the gentle ripples of the Nile.
TOP NOTE
It opens with Gin & Juniper Berry, bright and clear as the first breath after the storm. Black Pepper and Pink Pepper ignite like the pulse of the desert wind.
HEART NOTE
In its heart, Violet Leaf, Orris, and Tuberose soften the air. The quiet luxury of shade beneath palm leaves.
BASE NOTE
Beneath, Amber, Moss, Oak, and Polished Wood, with a trace of Brown Sugar, recall the warmth of fire, the scent of rest, the taste of survival.
Composed by Marie Urban Le Febvre, SHORES OF ASYUT is a moment between movement and stillness. An ode to the wanderer who finds peace not at the end, but along the way.
