The orientation of every anatomical point along a kinetic chain affects every other. Pathology associated with any anatomical point along the same chain, predisposes to dysfunction at any other point. In the case of Negative plantar angles associated with higher pathologies, regardless of pathogenesis, the orientation and health of every anatomical point must be addressed to end perpetuation. Farriers are well placed to notice the changes in posture and hoof Morphology which can be early signs of problems.

K-Tape! So useful in enhancing the effect of a treatment!

I used it here to reduce pain in an old "Kissing Spine" case.

It was put on while she was lifting her back (in the correct position), so that when she moves out of that position the stretching of the tape reminds and encourages her to go back to that correct position.

Why do I want her there?

In that correct, "lifted" position, her Spinous Processes (the pointy things on top of her vertebrae) are "opened" which helps reduce pain associated with Kissing Spine.
