This is our patient Queen, and the owner’s attention made all the difference in this case.

After noticing that Queen was no longer able to fly normally, the owner promptly sought veterinary care.

Following a complete evaluation, including physical examination, clinical assessment, and laboratory testing, we identified a bacterial infection in the shoulder joint, requiring a targeted joint treatment.

Queen remained hospitalized under our care, receiving intensive treatment, and has now been discharged to continue recovery at home.

We will proceed with a specific at-home protocol for the joint, combined with weekly laser therapy sessions, focusing on functional recovery and a safe return to flight.

Preventive deworming in birds? That’s not care, that’s risk.

Birds are not dogs or cats. There is no such thing as “routine deworming” without diagnosis.
Giving antiparasitics blindly can lead to intoxication, liver damage, and serious clinical complications.

And here’s what most people ignore:
Each bird requires an individualized dose, calculated by the specialist.

Feeding your bird a diet based fatty seeds is the same as eating junk food every single day.

Yes, they love it.
Yes, they will choose it over anything else.
And that’s exactly the problem.

These seeds are extremely high in fat and very poor in essential nutrients. Over time, this leads to:

❌ Liver disease (very common in pet birds)
❌ Obesity
❌ Nutritional deficiencies
❌ Weak immune system
❌ Shortened lifespan

A bird eating mostly seeds is not a healthy bird, even if it looks “fine” today.

This is one of the most common and most damaging mistakes in avian care.

Your bird doesn’t need what they like.
They need what their body actually requires.

Do you allow kids to eat only sweets or junk food all day just because they enjoy it?

A proper diet is balanced, controlled, and built for long-term health, not instant satisfaction.

If your bird is addicted to seeds, it’s not preference.
