Abbey moved to Dubai in 2019. Before long she had rescued and rehomed over 175 cats. Here, Mau and Me is born.

Coming from the UK, she was stunned to see so many cats on the streets, injured, abandoned and abused - she couldn’t just sit back and watch. With her love for animals and growing up with many pets since a young girl, she decided to help the UAE cats on by one. Predominately helping the Arabian Mau, the local cat of the United Arab Emirates, Abbey learnt what joys this breed of cat brought to her

life. Whilst she helped them, she realised they also helped her in more ways than one. Abbey wants to continue her journey helping as many animals as possible, educating on the responsibility of having a pet and promoting her love of animals and the Arabian Mau to all.
