Today is super special. Happy first birthday to TBL Two 🎈our beautiful, boutique facility in Business Bay!

She is a true labour of love ❤️ and we are so happy to have the barks of our doggies and the meows of our kitties fill our space and our hearts 🥰

We can't wait to keep growing our Pack and making the lives of our busy mums and dads easier through our offering.

TBL was built on love and runs on love. I've said so before we opened our doors in Al Quoz, 3 and a half years ago, and it continues to ring true today.

TBL is always a happy playground for our doggies and kitties and we are grateful 🥰

Behind the scenes are our Care Crew, who work tirelessly 24/7 to ensure all our guests are well taken care of.

It's a sad time because we have a lot of amazing, kind and caring Care Crew from Sri Lanka, who are grappling with a lot of personal issues back home as a result of cyclone Ditwah. Lack of connectivity with loved ones, loss of property and much more.

Despite their personal circumstances, they just keep showing up for our TBL. TRUE HEROES! And we are incredibly grateful.

Please give us some grace as we do our best to offer you our best in busy season. Heros don't always wear capes, but they do cuddle the pets in our care, take amazing picture and videos to show mum and dad, and fight back their tears to offer EXEMPLARY care!

As an owner, I'm proud. As a human, I'm humbled and grateful beyond belief. I have the BEST Care Crew in the whole damn world! ❤️🙏

We are blessed with the BEST 🥰✨ we couldn't ask for a happier Pack of doggies and kitties. Alhamdulillah ✨

As we get closer to our beloved UAE's National Day and our busy season, we kindly ask for your prayers and good wishes as we go into our busy season ❤️ Our Care Crew is working tirelessly to prep our TBL for a healthy and happy holiday season.

This is our Bella. Our Care Crew lovingly call her Bella Boss. And rightfully so. She is the entire reason TBL was born. She inspired us to build and open TBL, a loving and nurturing space for our doggies and kitties. To just do better ❤️

Today is her 5th Gotcha Day, but unfortunately we weren't able to spend it fully with her, since she had to ungergo surgery for a torn ligament caused by hip displasia we had no prior knowledge of 😔

1 our whole family went to spend some time with her while she's in recovery
2 Bella being cute in daycare at TBL
3 and 4 the first day we welcomed her to our family
5 enjoying a puppucino at TBL
6 a disoriented little girl post op. Thank you to Dr Singh for caring for our girl ❤️ we appreciate you!

There's a long road ahead till she recovers. And we will be with her every step of the way 🥰

Please remember that our doggies and kitties are very much part of our families. They deserve all the love and care we can give them and they are not dispensable. For us, they are part of our lives, and for them, we are their full lives.

Please be kind to our four legged friends. They are truly the best ❤️

Hi TBL family,

This one is deeply personal. We found two beautiful doberman puppies constantly being left outside in the scorching heat, with barely any food and no water, in a residential area. They're just 5 months old. They were bought unfortunately to please the children in the home, when the family, unfortunately didn't have any time or experience to care for them. They are no longer 'cute' puppies and weren't receiving the love and care doggies should have. Please swipe to the end to see the condition they were in and why we could not, in good faith, allow this to continue. 😔

We knew we had to do something. We reached out to the owner and explained what we do at The Barking Lot. We begged him to surrender these sweet puppies. We were met with resistance and we finally agreed to pay for them to have them surrendered. It's the best use of our funds, honestly.

I'm so happy to say we have taken them in this morning under our care, and have graciously agreed to help us find a home for them. They will cover the cost of vaccinating and neutering/spaying these beauties, so they can have a chance at a better life. They have had the BEST day at TBL and we want to multiply their happiness ❤️
