Today at Bontle Bahao Trust in Kutama, Zvimba District we launched - Mothers in Permaculture project. 15 local women will create their food gardens using knowledge and techniques.
Mapfihwa seeks to
●promote a self sustained community with resilience to climate change shocks.
●impart organic farming practices to disadvantaged women.
●draw on indigenous knowledge systems on growing nutritious and climate adaptable foods in a sustainable way.

The project is supported by CAS-TWAS and UNESCO grants. Present were our partners Zimbabwe Workcamp Association Freedom Junction Innovative Community Arts Project Marikun Chiherafilms Lorraine Muwuya
