Throwback to these wounded cats from a few years ago that were both beautiful leopards, but couldn't have been more different hunt wise...

The first one (with Remy and me) put up such a fight, taking cover amongst some ataxacantha which sounds exotic but is really just a nightmare plant....hard to pe*****te, thick to get through....all-around hard work! The dogs had a serious fight, and the PH shot the cat at about 9 yards....safe to say, heaps of excitement!

In comparison, the second tom was a piece of cake 🎂 the dogs, as always, showed up with systems going, but bumped the cat already dead not too far into tracking him. Safe to say, the hounds were not impressed at the lack of excitement.

In both cases though, the bush was ridiculously thick and the safest way to deal with wounded cats is with a team of hounds! Less chance of becoming meow chow, so to say 🤣

Truth is, she's not just the top dog, she's the first hound and my best friend so, bed it is i guess (though she has one hundred percent already started pulling out the pregnancy card) but anyways....
